If you are here because you want to try out a open source EDA suite, or you have gEDA files and you are looking for a software to open them or if you are trying to upgrade your gEDA installation, please consider using Ringdove EDA instead. gEDA is not maintained anymore, especially gschem and pcb are bitrotting. It is becoming increasingly hard to compile them because of the now obsolete dependencies.
