genxproj - installation

All methods: requirements

• genxproj is not portable - it works only on Linux
• required development tools: gcc, GNU make, very likely an svn client
• required common libs:
  • libpng-dev
  • xlib-dev
  • lua5.1-dev

All methods: unpackaged dependencies

Before compiling gnexproj, the following libraries must be installed on your system, as root:

• genht: http://repo.hu/projects/genht - get it from svn://repo.hu/genht/trunk
• puplug: http://repo.hu/projects/puplug - get it from svn://repo.hu/puplug/trunk
• fungw: http://repo.hu/projects/fungw - get it from svn://repo.hu/fungw/trunk

Method 1: run from source

This method does not require furhter installation; it is flexible on svn ups and is generally favored by developers and for one time test runs.

• ./configure
• make
• cd src
• ./genxproj arguments

Method 2: installation

This method is recommended for stable, system-wise installation and production use.

• ./configure
• make
• as root: make install
• genxproj arguments
