avrfuse
Introduction
Avrfuse is a simplistic utility that converts programming AVR fuse bits
from hex/binary to human readable, textual configuration files. Avrfuse
features:
- generate config filed with default fuse settings
- directly program fuse bits from fuse config files using avrdude
- read fuse bits from device (using avrdude) and translate it to textual configuration
- able to modify config files in place, or dump new version to a new file or on stdout
- able to read config file from stdin (can fully work as a filter)
- allow fuse configuration to be part of a source file
- proper wrapper around avrdude, combines with any other programming/downloading activity
- read any device specific information from device map files (which are plain text config files) to ease adding support for different AVR chips
Current state and news
Avrfuse is in alpha state. It supports only one device at the moment
(attiny2313) and is tested on that device. Following the "release early,
release often" rule, current release is to trigger feedback from the community
and improve the base before adding support for more devices.
